She is very much into natural and healthy eating. She used to be fat and ailing, but turned her life around by losing 100lbs in a little over a year by eating healthy and exercising daily. She sparked my interest in organic food, and gardening to be self-sufficient. This book was only $0.99 when I bought it, and is worth all 99 pennies and more. It gives you all the reasons you should consider organic gardening, the tools and equipment you’ll need, and explains the many factors you need to be mindful of. With Spring arriving quickly, I can’t wait to start my very first garden!

Getting outdoors coupled with organic vegetables was really appealing to me. I’m finding organic vegetables more and more expensive when shopping and I have also read a couple of articles lately about how these vegetables aren’t as “organic” as you think. A real beginner, I bought this book more out of hope than anything else… Hope that this would be a lot less complicated than it sounds - and to be honest, it was. The book lays out real simple guidelines that makes everything so straight forward. I was fascinated by the part on avoiding pests - as I was unaware of how “organic” you could take this. Great book. With spring here, we are planning on trying some gardening this year and obviously organic is the way to go. This book has provided us some great information about how to set up our organic garden, how to use compost to feed the plants and actually what to grow. We understand that organic gardening to be tough, but a book like this is a really great starting guidebook to help get your organic garden off of the ground. I definitely recommend it.
