By MadHatter I really thought that this was THE greatest homemade soap guide out there, however this really should have been named, MAKE SOAP WITH MELT AND POUR. I just started to make and learn how to make soaps this year and I am really all about quality ingredients as well as the amount of work being put into soap making as well. Sure everyone wants the fast and easy way in everything but I guess I like showing dedication as well into something that is sort of a "crafting art". I thought this was going to teach you how to use natural oils into making conditioning, creamy, and bubbly soaps, I didn't expect to read about melt and pour. This book isn't for me at all. slightly disappointed considering 90% of the material written in here could have been GOOGLED for free instead of purchasing it.

It uses melt and pour soap which is another way to make soap. I have not tried the recipes yet but there are many good ones in the book especially if you want to avoid making the soap totally from scratch. I do plan on using the recipes. I think they will make great gifts!

Well maybe not easy but definitely a lot easier than I thought. This homemade soap guide made it sound quite easy, I don't if it will be when I give it a go but it sounds like it would be with the detailed instructions and everything.Can't wait to give it a go and try out my own soaps!

Since many of my friends spoke highly of it, I decided I would give it a shot, and this book ended up being just the guide I needed to get started. The book details the most popular hydroponic setups, which was helpful for someone like me who has no firsthand experience with this kind of gardening. The author seemed aware that hydroponics is a somewhat foreign concept for a lot of people because the guide is written with simple language and clear explanations of even the most basic ideas. I found that helpful because I would have been lost otherwise.After reading the book, I even built my first hydroponic garden. I used the book’s step-by-step guide to construct a “drip system” setup. It's sitting beautifully on my back patio right now!I would certainly recommend this book for gardeners or anyone else who is interested in learning about the fascinating world of hydroponic gardening.

By Nilah M I've been working at developing my green thumb and my knowledge of gardening, and I was very intrigued by the concept of hydroponics. There is a rich history of this technique and even a detailed description of the the concept. Hence, I surely learnt a lot about it! I am experimenting with the Wick System of Hydroponic and the set-up guide and tips are pretty insightful. I am trying out using clay pebbles too.

A method such as this naturally requires some effort at first, but when you actually succeed, it's going to be worth it. Good stories, but not enough "predators" By Brad Although a couple of the stories feature animals, the majority are more about small town life in the (wild) west, around the time when cars are becoming mainstream. The bullets still fly on occasion, and gossip is rife in the saloons.I was expecting more animal "predators" but really it was only the first story which had one. By Casie L My Thoughts - 4 out of 5 unicorns - I really liked it!!***Received the ebook for an honest review from the publisherBetrayed (Book #5.5)This is a novella that is about 90 pages, and it is about Raphael and Cyn. This is an adult series with the sexual content it contains, so no kids or teens.This story does not have as much action as D.B. full novel length books have, and this is added information that is mentioned in one of the other books, but no details were given in that book because they are all contained here. It does give you information about Duncan’s replacement and Raphael’s relationship with Lucas too. I think you definitely want to read this because if you are like me and reading a book and it mentions something happening that you don’t recall reading about…you may start thinking you have to go back and read all of the books again to see if you fell asleep…lol! Okay really I just can’t stand not knowing….it is my curious nature…I just want to know :)As always D.B. is just amazing with her descriptions and the story just comes alive. She also writes sex scenes that make the pages smoke while you are reading them :) I really do love this series, but I definitely prefer her action packed stories more :)Even though you do not have to, I recommend reading them in order, so you can see everything happen and connect better with the world D.B. creates and its characters :)Hunted (Book #6.5)This is a novella from Vampires in America, and I think it should be read after Lucas, but before Aden just because you get details about what happens in between these books. It is nice to be reading and not wondering what the characters are referring to, so I highly recommend reading it so you don’t miss out. This is a quick read under 100 pages. This as well as the whole series is for adults only as there is steamy scenes and violence.D.B. is an amazing author. The storylines, world, and characters she creates are complex, action packed, and just awesome to read. She is one of my favorite authors of Vampire Romance with her on the shelf is Lynsay Sands and Kerrelyn Sparks. Of course these are my favorite and opinions ;)As always I was pulled right into the story, and I love the dynamic between Cyn and Raphael. Of course, I think I love Cyn’s interaction with everyone, and she always makes me laugh. There is a mix of steamy scenes with her and Raphael, and of course danger mixed throughout. I can’t wait to read Aden :) Unforgiven (Book #7l5)This is the last of the Cyn and Raphael novellas that are published at this time. No idea if there will be more of these novellas, but I do know there is more of the series to come. This of course makes me very happy because I love this series :) This is for adults only as is the whole series. There are steamy sex scenes.As always I love Cyn’s spunky but fierce attitude and especially her sense of humor. She is always very loyal to those she loves but gives Raphael a run for his money with who is more protective of whom. Raphael is the Alpha male to the max, and I love him and Cyn together :)Plenty of story packed into this novella, and I think this is my favorite of the 3. While you do not have to read this series in order, I think you will miss out if you don’t. This one should be read after Aden but before Vincent. This gives you details that will make you think you missed something key if you don’t read this. Some major things happen in this novella, but I can’t give this away because the journey is what makes the adventure, and I’d never want to ruin that for anyone :)I highly recommend this series to vamp lovers especially if you like complex storylines and lots of awesome characters. I think if you like Lynsay Sands and Kerrelyn Sparks that you will definitely like Vampires in America too :)

By Confessions of a Reviewer A copy of The Dogmen of Cedar Park (Cedar Park Tales Book 1) was sent to Confessions of a Reviewer in exchange for an honest review. This is said review. This book is self published.I have had the pleasure of reading one other story by Ricardo Bare and that was his story Worship Hymn which also comes under the Cedar Park Tales banner. When I reviewed that story I mentioned that Mr Bare would be a name to look out for in the future.When he contacted me to ask if I would like to review The Dogmen of Cedar Park it was a no brainer.I was hoping for more of the same. What I got this time was the exact same style of writing, but, and this is a big but, Ricardo Bare as honed his writing skills to perfection with this one. This is a contender for short story of the year from Confessions!Branden is ten years old. He feels so alone since his father disappeared a few years earlier. He lives with his mom but she works a lot and he is left by himself for long periods of time. His town is constantly shrouded in a haze of thick fog. Branden sees strange men all the time. Strange men with dog faces. He knows they are after him and he knows he must run but he doesn’t want to leave his mom.Mr Walton tends the cemetery. He told Branden when the horn sounds, there will be two doors. You must run to the correct one to escape. Branden can’t wait for the horn. The Dogmen are coming for him.This is a short story. You will read it in an hour. You may read it quicker if you don’t get interrupted by a thirteen year old wanting onto your laptop or a dog wanting out to chase seagulls. In fact when you pick this up, lock yourself away in a room with no distractions because you will not want to put it down under any circumstances.Branden is obviously our main character. He is a troubled lad but only because he can see the Dogmen everywhere. He’s too scared to tell anyone in case they don’t believe him. He just wishes his father was there to protect him. He has no idea where he is or why he has gone. The only friend he has is Deirdre. She is also strange. It’s almost like she knows as well but she doesn’t want to talk about it. Mr Walton spends all his time in the cemetery. He definitely knows and tries to warn Branden. Branden’s mom knows something as well but she doesn’t talk about it either.What is it they all know that Branden doesn’t? I don’t know either. This is where this story is going to develop and grow into something wonderful and people are going to be talking about The Cedar Park Tales for a long time.This is without doubt one of the creepiest stories I have ever read in my entire life, be it six hundred page novels, one hundred and fifty page novellas or ten page short stories. This story made the hairs on my arms stand up from the very first page until about an hour after I had finished it.The writing is superb. I talk a lot about books being atmospheric. It is something that makes a story much more powerful for me than say a straight slasher book where you know what is happening and what’s going to happen. In this story you have a ten year old boy. Now imagine you are ten. Imagine you are walking through your small town at night. Pitch black. There is a heavy fog where you can barely see the other side of the street. You can hear dogs barking and growling. You know it’s not dogs though. You know it’s the men with dog faces. Imagine how scared you would feel? Bad eh? Now imagine a thunderstorm starts and all the power in the town goes off? At this point, if I was ten I would be filling my pants. I’m forty six and it had the same effect on me just reading about it. This story for me is the definition of creepy.This has got to be one of the most powerfully atmospheric thirty three pages I have ever read. When you buy this (because I know you will, you would be stupid not to) make sure you’re alone when you read it. Sit alone, in a totally dark room. I dare you.To summarise: read what I have said above and buy it. When you read this you will be keeping your eyes open for the name Ricardo Bare.General rating:★★★★★ Short story writing at it's best.Horror rating:★★★★★ Creepy as hell.
