By danielle frederick This is such a great tool to have when you thinking about getting a puppy to become a part of your family. It showed me things I wouldn't have even thought about. I have a little girl who wants a puppy very much and we were thinking about surprising her with one but now I see how the home and everyone in it should understand the duties that accompany having one. I will definitely be using all the tips given in this book to prepare our household.

I really liked the tips about doing your research beforehand, making sure all family members understand the role of the puppy in the home, and practicing consistency with the puppy. One thing I would add regarding training the puppy for tricks and obedience is to do it AFTER a long walk or run. Tired dogs are more obedient as I've learned from having dogs for several years. Nice book with sound advice!

You could google it and get much more helpul information.The book was free with my prime, so it's okay!I would have been upset if I would have paid for it.If you have internet, I would suggest using a search engine for basic training commands instead of this book:(
