Basically the reason, why I read this book was to find input about things I did not know.I had always thought that I was lucky with my two cats, ever since I managed to get them used to each other they don’t create any problem. Author Jade King makes a case for “the more you love your cat(s) they more they’ll love you back” – and I do that. So, maybe that’s why they are so happy.Most interesting to me was the chapter ‘Train you r cat to become a good eater”. My cats help themselves whenever they are hungry, they eat together and so far I thought that’s fine. Now after reading this book I am contemplating whether I should train them to become good eaters.Thank you,Gisela Hausmann, author & blogger

No subject in the book is covered in any great depth but it does offer some good tips on how to manage your cat's behavior. One section of the book seems to be missing a few sentences. Otherwise, a very easy read. A few British terms/phrases but nothing that you can't figure out the meaning of. I give it 3 stars for being a good introduction to the world of cat behavior. If your cat has any of the problems this book mentions, you will probably need to do further investigation on the subject. But this book offers a good starting point.

And I absolutely roared over using a baby gate to keep a cat either in or out of some place. That's a guaranteed way to have the cat get over or under the gate. The one piece of advice a new cat owner needs to know is missing: never, ever underestimate your cat.
