Very disappointing By Kindle Customer I managed to get through just a few pages before the poor punctuation, bizarre word-usage, and downbeat opening stopped me. A very unpleasant surprise after reading the first, which had none of these issues. "Rex's jaw pushes firmly together." This is not English. The heroine's stepfather 'embellishes' money, and his 'word spouts' land him in the psych ward? Reads as if the text was translated from a foreign language, and badly.

Did Lara do the right thing going back in time and saving her mother; giving up everything she had ever known and loved, her father... Rick. It makes you wonder if you went back in time to change one thing to save someone and the outcome changed everyone's lives, some for the worse, would you go back to that moment and let what you did unravel the way it was supposed to? Would you be able to give up the things and people you know cared for?Plugged shows not only has Lara grown up with the trauma and horror she's seen and been through but the story itself has also grown and matured in writing. Focused on righting all the things that went wrong when she selfishly went back in time to save her mother and alter the universe throwing away anyone who had meant anything to her, Lara looks at the changes in her world and accepts them and knows she couldn't go back and loose the things she's gained and lost; now she knows she has to save the world from the horrors she's suffered.Jill Cooper created a sequel that really hooks you right away, showing that Lara is more than just a teenager concerned with changing her world to make her happy; gone is the Lara struggling with which boy she should choose. With so many twist and turns in the story I was always kept not only on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next or what some of the characters real intentions were but I also found myself questioning what was real and what was the altered reality along with Lara. The only thing I wonder is what Lara's life must have been like before her first time travel, there is the whole dynamic with her father and Rick that we never get to become a part of but this isn't something that bothers me enough to make it a negative point to either 15 Minutes of Plugged. I could gush on and on about how amazing this story was but I would be afraid of spoiling something and I think one of the most amazing points of the story was that I never knew what was coming. It was an amazing sequel and I would be beyond excited and thrilled if the story continued!

I loved every second of it… I read the first book 15 Minutes and it was action packed from the get go. I think Ms. Jill Cooper did an amazing job at bringing the reader into the story, I related with all the characters and I loved loved loved Lara and Donovan.Just a quick recap of 15 Minutes: Lara’s mother died when she was young so she decided to go back in time through the Rewind agency to save her mother from that fate only to come back in an alternate future that is completely messed up. That’s where all of her troubles start.Now on to Plugged: Lara is caught she is trapped in a fantasy? In a prison? She can’t tell which way is up sometimes all she knows is that everything is wrong and all of her family is in trouble the longer she stays in this in this alternate reality. She has to escape and try to fix the mess she has made by her one action of changing the past. Only it’s not going to be easy, with the powers that be breathing down her neck she can’t get a minute to even think about escaping.The love story between Lara and Donavon is so sweet…. It’s sigh worthy. Ahhhh what a sweet guy and she is so super awesome she totally deserves him. She isn’t one of those winey annoying girls, she made mistakes and she fixed them. I loved Lara.I give this book 6 stars if I could, yeah it was that good…. You seriously need to read this! It was a time travel, kickbutt, romance that needs to be on your TBR list. I rate it G or PG no sexual nono’s and maybe one cuss word…. Go get this though!!!! Seriously!! You wont be sorry….
