About the Author Vicki Lewis has had a deep connection with animals and nature since she was a child. Today, she is a certified animal communicator whose mission is to be a bridge of clear communication and healing for people and animals. Her ability to communicate with animals began when she was a child. She furthered developed her animal communication skills as a necessity to care for her beloved dog, Phoenix, who was a resilient free-spirited black lab-boxer that had degenerative spinal myelopathy and eventually walked with a dog wheelchair. By Chris I just finished this beautiful memoir - thank you for putting your story into words for the rest of us to read. Keep On Rolling brought many tears to my eyes and left me feeling nothing but love and gratitude for our four-legged friends. Vicki and Phoenix have a touching, powerful story. It was inspiring to read about their devotion to one another. This story definitely inspired me to listen more intently to everything my dog has to say… not just his needs and wants but also his lessons for me. Thank you, Vicki, for being so vulnerable and open with your story!
