0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Another Great Short Story Series from Lisa Shea! By avidreader I have been fortunate to be a beta reader for Lisa over the last few months. First, thank you for allowing me this wonderful honor, Lisa. Now for a review.I am not big on romantic fiction. Being a guy who is a romantic at heart that may sound a bit odd. I am just not always into it. That being said, I did enjoy this short story quite a bit. I think some of it had to do with the fact that I am a Massachusetts native myself, just like Lisa so I could connect with the setting very well. The other reason I liked the story was because of the descriptions that Lisa gives in this book. She has a gift for description, and as a writer I am always amazed by it.The main character, Sarah was likable and a woman I could see as a loving, albeit lost young woman. I got the sense that she was looking for not just Gideon, but also a part of herself in him. While I usually hate that quality in most characters it worked here. My only complaint was that it was a bit shorter. I kind of felt that we did not get much closure to the story at the end. I actually hope that Lisa writes a companion story to this to finish telling the rest of Sarah's story. All in all, a good, clean read which is also something I love about Lisa's writing.

Her stories always lift my spirits as they are joyfully written. Now that Rachel has approval of her heartthrob from her AuntMomma, sister Sarah's ruined life may also change. Why? Because Rachel has given her a Native American love token ... if she'll only believe it will work! This is a great, great story which makes one realize real love will never be lost. Beautifully written and very compelling.
