The descendants of human civilization have fought the invaders in a war of attrition for several hundred years. The humans now live like the Apaches or Sioux, mobile warrior tribes attacking the crumbling civilization of the invaders. The humans finally win and push in invaders into the sea. Not great but OK.

THE OLD PULPS STILL PLEASEUS By CHOPZ THIS TRILOGY IS JUST PLAIN FUN TO READ EVEN WITH ERB'S TENDENCY TO REWORK SITUATIONS FROM HIS VENUS AND HOLLOW EARTH NOVELS.(AND I SUSPECT SOME HOMAGE TO ACD'S LOST WORLDS) IF YOU CAN PUT OUR OWN SENSE OF REALITY ON HOLD AND READ FROM THE ASPECT OF AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY VIEWPOINT THESE TALES EXCITING AND FUN/
