A Montage of Short Stories is a wonderful and very well written collection of easy reading stories/tales. There is a little of bit of The Twilight Zone, On Golden Pond and more important "real life" in the various stories. My initial intent was to read the first couple stories and take stock of the book’s flow; well before I knew it I was on story 7 or The Inheritance. My personal favorites were A Senior Holiday, The Devil Visits Sugar Creek and the relevant Other Side of the Bed. Please take the time to read some of them…you won’t be disappointed.

This is a very enjoyable read and I think most will enjoy this writer's unique style and expression. Open to any page and just go! You will hungrily devour this collection and be a bit saddened when you've finished and find yourself wishing for more. If that is the case, check out his other novels. I'll bet you can't read just one!A Montage of Short Stories
