By Predator51 Kel'Atar, a male warrior elf, and Shaelyn, a princess elf, go on an action packed adventure. They help the humans and King Sapin defend against an invasion of orcs, goblins, ogres, and trolls. The evil army is led by a very powerful orc by the name of Urlgan Bloodfist. The battles are superb, especially the fight between Bloodfist and Kel'Atar. What makes this book so enjoyable besides the non-stop action is that the elves have wings. But because of a policy preventing them from taking sides with other races, the queen of the elves has prevented Kel'Atar and Shaelyn from flying. Yet they can still use their wings to glide. Look forward to book # 2 in this series as the two elves take on an evil wizard and his undead army.
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. A great read! By M I really enjoyed this book! I thought it's characters were interesting and well developed. Kel'Atar is pretty bad-ass as is his companion on his journey, Shaelyn. The fight scenes are really intense which I enjoyed. It's a really sweeping and epic story. I would also like to point out that cover is beautiful. I have already purchased book 2 in the series and I am really looking forward to it.
