This is the same subject but based here, North America. The Report on the mound explorations by the Ethnology Bureau is vast in its scope & expose on the mounds of Northmerica, never seen before. If you like to connect dots from a world view this book is for you, almost 900 pages but you savor all of them like a well cooked cuisine. The crux of the book centers on the argument of the mound origins: Mound Builders or "Indians" Which I believe to be one and the same. The only question that might come to my mind, would be, who gave the explorers the right to disturb age old burial grounds, was it for the sake of science alone. Did they get permission from decedents?
