It took me a little less than an hour to read so you can read it rather quickly. I received an ARC in an exchange for a review.It starts off where the last one ends, at the hotel. However, you see a little bit of what Chase went through to find Crystal before they see each other at the hotel. Crystal confronts Chase about the money and Chase convinces her to keep it. However, we find out that there is some bad news. Jake has found her! Now trapped and nowhere to go, Chase tells her to stay at the hotel. As a thank you, Crystal kisses him! The next day over lunch Chase finly tells Crystal how they know each other and she bolts. Chase finds her in the room and then they kiss, a hot, passionate kiss. But that's it! Chase leaves saying basically that he wants her forever. End of part two. The only thing was that I wish it was longer and I want to know what happens next!
0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Does Crystal get swept away? By Mindy H I really like this series. Crystal reminds me of a feral cat; jumpy, leery and very nervous of R. Her uneasiness of R doesn't go away even when she needs his help to keep her safe from Jake. Her reaction to her emotions and to him when Chase reveals himself to her makes it hard to wait for the next step on this journey. Will Crystal emerge strong and independent with Chase's help or will she feel more venerable by leaning on a man, will she feel she is being controlled and limited as she was in her marriage to Jake, quite a leading chapter.

It's a great story that will start you on an emotional ride.The story is well written and the charters are great. I love the story line.Of course it's to short and has a hell of a cliffhanger. I can't wait to read book 3.
