Peck Winning Big as a simple story is somewhat deceptive in that the actions of the little characters take on the more difficult choices one has to make in life. In other words, there are lessons to be learned and shared when reading the book for yourself or to someone much younger. This would be a perfect book to broaden and develop for animation. I loved the concept of a hotel within a hotel!

Loved Theodore's pride for his uniform and inner-turmoil over what was and wasn't important. Great "good guy battles principles" story. Left me feeling light and happy.
