This is a standalone book, but I ended up and bought them all.Caroline is so outgoing, loud, and generally happy. She is confident, and someone you would wish you could be at times. She also could be considered rude. But what can I say? I like people who speak their mind.Lucas is a bit of a wuss. He is not your typical Alpha characters. But he does have his reasons. So I can live with it, and still fall in love with the story.Be aware this is a short story.Sex: Hot and SteamyReadability: Well WrittenRe-read: Yes, I'm sure I'll reread it.

Luke has a tortured past and is afraid to trust anyone. Luke is a kind and gentle man who is not afraid to protect those he loves.Caroline is a wonderful, warm and kindhearted woman who never gets a second date because of her voice and believes that she will always be alone.This story is wonderful and watching these two grow and finally realize they are made for each other. This is a wonderful book and I loved reading it.I highly recommend this book, this author and this series to everyone who loves romance and or shifters. I know you will love it as much as I did. Be sure to pick up a copy for yourself you will be very very glad you did.
0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Great sweet alpha lovin'! By Morgan Rae I started in the middle (rebel, rebel) with Bear Seeking Bride: Luke (Book 4). The concept is original and imaginative: not only are shifters “accepted” in this society, but they have unique problems, like a lack of shifter females. Luke is probably an interesting one to start off with because he isn’t exactly your “typical” Alpha male. He carries a damaged past which makes it hard for him to get close to anyone else, but he’s almost incredibly sweet, which I found very refreshing and engaging.The real star of this book, however, is our heroine, Caroline. Curvy, charming, and incredibly herself, Caroline censors herself for no man which, unfortunately, puts her on the wrong end of a couple fly-by romances. Once she meets Luke, however, their romance feels natural and, although unorthodox, somehow works for the unconventional pair. The sexy was steamy, the romance was endearing, and I fell in love with the pair! Now that I’ve read one of the books in the series, I’m definitely going to go back and read the rest!
