The history included gives great insight in to South Florida as well as the various communities. Ray Stack has an uncanny ability to keep his audience engaged and excited about learning the nuances of South Florida. Who knew...Florida means "Full of Flowers"! I formerly worked at a Retirement Community where the residents sell their current homes and then move in to the retirement community. This is where I had the privilege of meeting Katie Stack on a professional basis. Her ethics, professionalism and integrity are exemplary! My clients all loved working with her and I never had one complaint in 6 1/2 years. There were times when a couple would decide that they did not want to move in to the retirement community, but still wanted to sell their home. I encouraged them to continue to use Katie because I had the utmost confidence in her abilities. Having had the pleasure of getting to know Katieand Ray Stack on a personal basis has been a very enriching experience. They are two of the kindest, most gracious people I have ever met. You can rest assure that the information they give you is honest and reliable. If you are looking to buy or sell in South Florida, I highly recommend you contacting Katie. Be sure to get the book and read it! It is extremely informative and helpful even if you are working with a real estate in another part of the country.

Great purchase before you invest in real estate By *LIZ* This book is a gem we just stumbled upon during our journey to get a new home in the South Florida area. The task can be overwhelming at times.This book gives good practical advice, mixed with humor and historical information about the area to make for a surprisingly interesting read, compared to the other books we purchased on the subject. I would definately make the rather small investment required for the book to guide the huge investment that is your home.The 30+ years experience the realtors have is evident and useful to both the novice and experienced home buyer.

Extremely Useful, Readable Resource, Packed with Information By james t dunphy This is a terrific book for anyone thinking of buying or selling a home in S. Florida. Extremely well-written and researched, it provides interesting historical context on the area, terrific pictures well-scattered throughout to break up the very readable and accessible text. Almost a full half of the book provides detailed and important information re: Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Monroe, Collier and Lee counties as well as all cities in every county. A veritable font of pricing and background information per city.I highly recommend! Lynne and James Dunphy
