About the Author After leaving school, Louise Firchau studied art and design, art history, illustration and typography and enjoyed card making, glass painting and sketching. In 2000 she was inspired to start paper cutting, and in 2010 she started her own online company called Paper Panda, making typographical lyrical paper cuts from recycled paper. Since then Paper Panda has grown significantly and now sells paper cuts and giftware in a range of distinct styles. Jam Packed Full of Amazing Designs By Susan D I couldn't recommend this book highly enough.It's packed full of the most amazing and beautiful designsPaper cutting becomes more and more popular.It's a way to make beautiful but simpleand high impacting images.From something as simple as a piece ofwhite card or paperand a piece of coloured card or paperyou can create some amazing images.The fantastic thing about the Twenty to Make rangeof books is you can try a new craft to see if it'ssomething you want to continue.The book is packed for of imagesand designs that you can use for all kindsof occasions or decor.The designs are just so beautiful.I had fun making one set of cards.They are meant for place cardsbut I used them for our Easter treasure hunt.I received this book to review, however all opinions expressed are my own and no monies were received.

Beautiful introduction to paper cutting with 20 lovely templates By Chris M I bought this book to surprise my wife and she is over the moon with it; it’s a lovely introduction to paper cutting with hints and tips throughout and 20 templates for you to try.What my wife prefers about this paper cutting book to all others she has read is its simplicity; it doesn’t overwhelm you with needless information and make paper cutting seem like this daunting craft which other books can tend to do. Instead the author encourages you to have a go: “it is something to be enjoyed, rather than worrying about perfecting your cuts”…. And then there are 20 beautiful and large templates for you to copy and print and have a go with. Perfect.There isn’t a great deal more to say about this book other than if you like Paper Panda and or paper cutting, you will love this book, the designs within are simply wonderful and the tips / instructions throughout from Louise Firchau are really encouraging and helpful, exactly what my wife needs as a novice paper cutter! Very highly recommended.
