About the Author Rob graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He worked 27 years in the Software Engineering industry. Upon retiring from that industry, he became involved in working with animals in several different capacities. That included working for the local Animal Care and Control shelter, working at a high volume/low cost Spay-Neuter clinic, and volunteering at several other animal organizations. He is a die-hard Notre Dame Football fan.

The story draws you in and makes you want to continue reading. It makes you wonder how your dog thinks and definitely what they do when you are gone. We all know dogs are smart animals and I loved hearing the story of the poker dogs. Give the book a 2 thumbs up! Everyone should read.

Nussbaum A fun perspective on the lives of dogs with lots of insight into shelter dogs and their struggles. This is a great book for anyone who is an animal lover! I also enjoyed the flashbacks to famous dogs of the past. Rob has used a creative spin that is unique and I haven't seen before in a novel...great job!
