Stories or tales are the best way to communicate lessons learned. The book is well written, easy to comprehend, and very usable. And most important, the stories or tales are a fun read.The author focuses on 3 elements in each story:1. What's the point?: He addresses why the story is important.2. What are the principles and best practices?: He lists the design and construction principles that are important.3. Summary of principles an tools. He reinforces each story with one of the 4 primary principles in the book.If you are involved in design and construction, this is a critical book for your library - both as a technical read but also as a fun read of what things can go wrong and what you can do to fix them.
