2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Good story, worth reading By Walter Stanley When I was about twelve years old or so I read THE DAY THEY H-BOMBED LOS ANGELES. For some reason, something made me think of that book, so I looked it up on Amazon hoping it might be available cheap or included in a megapack. It wasn’t, but there were several other stories by Robert Moore Williams available. This one, though nothing really special, was not a disappointment. It makes me wonder why so many low-budget science fictions movies are so bland. This could easily be adapted into a reasonably good low-budget film that would be far better than those we see. The story has an optimistic, somewhat philosophical, and even unexpected end. This is the kind of science fiction that made me a fan as a teenager.
